She resides in the quiet town of Anega, a farming community that resents her for reminding them of the past. Though her life is solitary, her job creating stage costumes and tricks for her twin sister, Kaiya, keeps her occupied.

Kaiya has led the life that Aubrey once dreamed of, traveling the country and exploring new opportunities. A professional magician and illusionist, she has not stepped foot in Anega since her sister’s ordeal. She has made a new name and a new back story, but can never escape her family’s horror. Later in life, she reemerged as a member of the network dedicated to helping take down The Progeny.

ROY DOVE

Regent Chief Inspector Roy Dove’s assignment was the simple task of bringing Eric Kade to justice. Dove had invested a decade of his life chasing Eric, a demon hunter, around the globe. Though Dove believed in his actions, his choice threatened to be his own undoing. As he inched toward catching his man, he was too close to see that a trap had been set for him, too.

BROOKS DUDNIK
First Appearance: Give Her Back to Me
This man with a troubled past is more heroic than people in the town of Anega will admit. The former soldier scoured the local quarries when friend, Aubrey Clark, became the ninth victim. His determination brought him close to the monster, who fled before Brooks could identify him. That failure has haunted Brooks ever since and caused him to hide in a bottle. After his niece goes missing, Brooks’ turmoil prompts him to find the monster that’s haunted him for sixteen years.

Malcolm also oversaw the beatification process of Olesia Kaczanek, the Saint of Bishop’s Island.

CAROLYNE FLYNN
First Mention: Pursuit
Founder: The House of Flynn
Carolyne Flynn came to Bishop’s Isle in the late 1870s, from parts unknown, and speculation aplenty. She established the family name when she helped overthrow tyrannical Nathaniel Bishop from power. A saloon moll and knifesmith, she had a legendary romance with Sheriff Uzziah Archer, the preacher who took the life of Bishop. As matriarch of the House of Flynn, she built their fortune, which passed down the line to her one proven grandson, Jacob.

JACOB FLYNN
First Appearance: Descent, Heretic
Member: The House of Flynn
The wealthiest man on Bishop’s Island, Jacob Flynn was as rich in mystery as he was in gold. His family helped to establish the island, which he viewed as his kingdom. The greatest threat to his empire was often his own daughter, Olivia, whom he seldom regarded. His family history came to light when a relic called “The Parcel” went missing, despite its deadly consequence.

OLIVIA FLYNN

Other Appearances: Fryhet, Heretic
Member: The House of Flynn
Born into wealth and privilege, Olivia Flynn lived the sort of life she read about in storybooks and fairy tales.
