Anega is a Cherokee word, and the town that serves as the setting of the novel, Give Her Back to Me. Surrounded by cornfields fed by the waterway known as Villám Fork and abundant limestone quarries, Anega is a sleepy little town and home to a dark history. Two decades earlier, it was the target of a serial murderer, called The Apostle.
Only one of The Apostle’s victims survived; the daughter of the former sheriff. Now, in present day, Anega is haunted once again by its merciless past. If The Apostle doesn’t destroy the town, the secrets its built on very well might!
Anega is downstream from the town of Elfordult, which is the setting of the novel Wayward. While you might not recognize any familiar faces, you never know when a certain winery might become a tourist trap.
