The picturesque town of Elfordult is the setting of the novel Wayward. Nestled along a waterway known as Villám Fork, the town was settled by Hungarian travelers two centuries prior to the beginning of the novel. On the surface, it’s an ideal community, surrounded by the waterway, a lush winery, historical gaslight sites and immense bluffs. Beneath the surface, unknown even to most of its citizens, Elfordult is home to a coven of witches; some who protect it, others who want to rule over it.

Elfordult is “upstream” from the town of Anega, so be on the lookout for familiar faces when visiting either town!
